2010 Ibanez JS1200-CA Joe Satriani Signature Electric Guitar in Candy Apple Red.
Players grade, so comes with quite a few battle scars and marks. previous owner was a bit hap hazard with the red nail polish covering up the worst or the paint chips. Sure she scrubs up well, and could easily get some makeup on and get touched up and refinished, Hell she might even like it!.
Thing is, were not to in to that at Unique. We prefer honest guitars that aren’t hiding anything. So we kind of like her just the way she is. Although she’s a bit dog eared, nothing really wrong other than a few chips and dings. More of her to Love.
If you’ve ever played these guitars you know how good they are, the body contours on the top and bottom are stunning, so rounded and thin, she’s simply a joy to look at, hold, squeeze and play. There really isn’t anything else like them. Pickups are very strong, clear and incredibly articulate. The bridge Fred pickup is one of our favourites and is truly amazing, for everything. Then again if its good enough for Joe then who we to argue!
Great guitar that can be rocked straight out the box without trying to wrap her up in cotton wool.
She might be cheap, but she’s no push over.

The JS1200 has a maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard with attractive abalone dot inlays. The 22 frets feature Ibanez’s Prestige fret edge treatment, for increased comfort and playability. The guitar features an original and legendary Edge tremolo bridge, which has always been Joe’s favourite in feel and tone. The volume control has a high-pass filter to maintain the highs at low volumes, while the tone control has a push/pull coil tap to increase the sound and tonal variations for both pickups.
